Athletic heat transfers are pre-printed graphics that bond to apparel using a heat press—ideal for team jerseys, practice gear, fanwear, and sideline apparel. Compared with direct printing, transfers deliver fast turnarounds, consistent color, and easy personalization. We produce multiple transfer types—including DTF Gang Sheets and screen-printed heat transfers—engineered for high-motion, high-wash sports use.
For team sports, screen-printed heat transfers are the workhorse. Silicone screen-printed transfers help prevent dye migration on sublimated polyester, locking in bright whites and crisp spot colors on football, soccer, and lacrosse kits. Our Hybrid + Blocker transfer is also designed to be bleed-resistant, combining vivid color with a carbon blocker for tough poly fabrics. We also offer DTF Gang Sheets for full-color detail, low minimums, and fast reorders, plus specialty effects for spiritwear and merch when you want puff, neon, or glow.
Yes—when you match the transfer to the fabric and press to spec. Our athletic formulas are built to withstand repeated washing and on-field abrasion when you use the recommended time, temperature, and pressure, and follow care instructions like washing inside-out in cold water and avoiding fabric softeners. For contact sports and travel-heavy seasons, screen-printed or blocker formulas offer maximum durability; for complex logos and sponsors, DTF Gang Sheets excel.
Cotton and cotton-blends take both screen-printed and DTF transfers well. Performance polyester and sublimated jerseys benefit from silicone or Hybrid + Blocker to control dye migration and maintain color accuracy. Nylon shells and windbreakers require low-temp, nylon-friendly adhesives, while spandex and compression gear need stretch-ready formulas that move with the garment without cracking.
You need a calibrated heat press with accurate digital temperature and pressure; home irons won’t deliver consistent results. A level platen, correct pressure, and precise peel timing (hot, warm, or cold as specified) are essential. A heat-resistant pad for seams or zippers, a lint roller for pre-press, and a simple alignment guide will raise your first-press success rate.
